Over the years adding a signature to your mail has become a part of the mail itself. With the advent of Web 2.0 and even newer applications, Internet became more colorful and artistic. But somehow adding color to your signature was not possible and even with a mail full of color and different fonts, your signature was left in plain old text format.
Engineers and computer geeks from around the world have tried to solve this problem. They got some success using browser plugins, Greasemonkey scripts for Firefox and many different options but still the effect was not satisfactory. But now Gmail has come up with a custom rich text editor for your signature, just similar to the one you see above mail body in compose mode. You can edit your signature the way you want and even add a custom image if you like. Just hit the settings in Gmail and add color to your signature.
