AMD which is the world’s second largest computer chip maker is all set to bring in more modern and cheaper chipsets into the country. The Indian computer market has seen a flood of notebooks and netbooks in recent times.
Mr. David Kenyon, Corporate Vice President of AMD said that they begun the year with launching AMD C and E Series APUs, which saw immediate success. The company’s recently introduced AMD A series APU too is ready to be seen in the market and is also hoped to bring in as much recognition.
In addition to the above, AMD is also launching Future is Me campaign in India to target the youth who are the main buyers. This new campaign would be especially for the youth of India and will be categorized in four categories namely entertainment, music, fashion and digital.
Kenyon added that the campaign would create a lot of enthusiasm as well as bring into focus the imagination and creativity of the youth of India. Cash prizes of Rs.1 lakh as well as a free laptop would be offered to best entrants in each category.
