After the death of computer games, it is now the turn of gaming consoles like Playstation and XBOX, according to Mr Peter Vesterbacka, Rovio. The famous maker of Angry Birds, Rovio just announced earlier last week that their game had crossed the milestone of 10 million downloads!

Rovio believes that in this fast paced world today, people do not have time like they used to earlier. Console gaming is getting time consuming for many gamers and the form is dying a slow death. People are not willing to invest hundreds of dollars on consoles and then another hundreds to buy games.

If this was not enough, you need to practice a lot in order to get used to the controller. Whereas in the case of mobile gaming, you don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars and don’t need time to get used to the game. The best of mobile games are available at less than a $1 today and these games can be mastered very easily as it has accelerometer based controls.
