Animatronic dinosaurs for Australian theme park

Clive Palmer an Australian billionaire has revealed that he wants to build a Jurassic Park style theme park filled with animatronic dinosaurs. Incidentally  the eccentric billionaire is the man behind plans to recreate the Titanic.

This theme park will feature a number of these plant and meat eating creatures that will heave their chests, blink their eyes and sway their tails. The Palmer Coolum Resort already boasts of a T-Rex. There will be over 165 animatronic dinosaurs dotting the park lawns as the theme park comes to life. Joining the T-Rex will be a 20 meter long and 3.5 meter high Deinosuchus. Deinosuchus literally translates into 'crocodile' and was one of the biggest pre historic crocodiles that lived. Apart from this a 1.2 ton brachiosaurus and a 7 meter tall mamenchisaurus will be other attractions at the park. Deinosuchus along with most of the other dinosaur replicas will be manufactured in China and will then be shipped to the park.

Clive Palmer's ambitious plan to recreate the Titanic includes building a nine deck- 840 room ship, design of which will match the original Titanic. Interiors and rooms within the Titanic 2 will be recreated to match those that were present on the ill fated vessel which sank after colliding with an iceberg  on 12th April, 1912 killing more than 1,300 passengers.
