Earlier yesterday, California based, electronic gadgets manufacturer, Apple filed a patent suit against South Korean manufacturer Samsung. The patent suit has been filed in the court of Seoul Central District.

Apple had earlier reported about their displeasure over design features of Samsung Galaxy series smartphone’s. Apple has alleged that Samsung has blatantly copied design and other patented technologies from Apple iPhone.

When reporters requested Seoul Court to reveal details of Apple’s claims, the court declined their requests. MoneyToday claims that Apple is suing Samsung over illegally using the design of Apple iPhone 3 for their Samsung Galaxy range of smartphone’s.

Samsung’s new tablet, Galaxy Tab has also copied design and other technology patents from Apple iPad, according to the report by MoneyToday. Apple and Samsung, both were contacted to give a statement, Apple did not reply while Samsung replied saying, “We will continue to actively defend and protect our intellectual property.”
