Bioware understands the difficulties their gamers have when they play a game that has low resolution textures. If you are a Dragon Age fan, then there is good news in store for you. Thanks to Bioware’s new high resolution patch, you can now play Dragon Age II in high resolution textures.
But this patch will only be effective if your gaming console has more than 1 GB of VRAM! Once you finish downloading the patch, you will have to install it. Once you are done installing the patch, go to the options menu and select video options, there you will find high resolution textures option, click on it and select enable and get ready to game in high definition!
According to Bioware.s official statement, “Most of the benefits from the Hi-resolution textures will only be seen if you are able to run the game in DirectX 11.” But we do not understand the need for this because if DX11 can utilize texture mapping, why cant DX10?
