Most of the auto brands are equipping their vehicles with innovative infotainment and entertainment systems for tech savvy customers. Renault came up with the R-Link, Ford with SYNC and now Cadillac will be introducing its CUE in-vehicle experience for its customers. Features of this new system are convenient and easy to use as settings allow users to customize the module as per their needs. Highlights include an eight inch capacitive touch screen interface with proximity sensing. The system is available in vehicles like the XTS luxury sedan, SRX luxury crossover and 2013 Cadillac ATS sports sedan.
While using most navigation devices, users have to input factors like street name, city, state and house number so as to get a route to their destination. Cadillac's CUE feature enables one to verbally or manually input full details on the screen at a single go. This helps to reduce time and keeps the driver focused on the road. A Preset shortcut enables users to flip through applications seamlessly. Valet Mode has been integrated within CUE to enable one to lock the center stack and instrument panel and secure their list of phone numbers, addresses and data from thieves and attendants. Steering wheel also features control functions of the CUE allowing on to multitask while driving.
The CUE module boasts of innovative and superior audio and connectivity features which allow for easy streaming of audio and connections for up to 10 Bluetooth devices at a single time. Settings allow users to change equalizer settings, customize tone settings and arranging their playlists.
