Apple giants are contemplating an aluminum back panel for the iPhone 5. The company also promises that the new iPhone 5 will sport a new A5 SoC chip that’s an iPad 2 component. Apple iPhone 5 will go into production sometime in the latter half of September 2011 but will have some differences from previous models.
Apple’s iPhone 5 will sport an 8-megapixel camera, dual-mode Qualcomm chip attuned with GSM and CDMA networks, dual mode GCS, and CDMA. The iPhone 5 is expected to be revealed at the Worldwide Developers Conference to be held on 6th of June this year at San Francisco, California.
Ming-Chi Kuo of Concord Securities stated that this is not where all that enthusiasm ends. There is more excitement and anticipation for Apple users as the company is also planning on the iPhone 6 somewhere in the first half of 2012 to keep pace with growing competition from Android based smartphones. So, even if this seems an agonizing wait, it’s always worth a wait with Apple. So, wake me up when September comes.
