Cydia’s new Celeste application for Bluetooth file transfer

Apple iPhone and iPad owners have faced severe problems with jailbreaks. Apple keeps trying to prevent users from jailbreaking their devices, but to no avail. The latest problem troubling Apple users was transferring of files via Bluetooth, and eventually Cydia figured out a way of curbing the iBluenova application which permitted transfer of files, photos, videos via Bluetooth.

Devices like jailbroken iPhone’s, iPad’s and iPod's running iOS 4.3 can now transfer files via Bluetooth using the Celeste application. Apple has been successful in patching out applications like iBluenova but is certain to face difficulties with the new Celeste application.

Celeste application depends entirely on mobile substrate, making it very hard for Apple to eliminate the new homebrew app. Apple’s 4.0 update patched out iBluenova, but it will be a while before Celeste app faces extinction.  For now, users can enjoy transfer of data via the Bluetooth without any trouble.  Cydia’s new Celeste application will be available in jailbreak, and will be a paid application.
