Tourists in Goa will not have to worry anymore as TomTom will be launching their GPS and portable navigation device for Goa market. These devices will allow tourists to explore parts of Goa by providing them with features like voice guided navigation to beaches and nearly 34,000 points of interest. Points of interest (POI's) are divided into 264 categories to enable individuals choose places like petrol pumps, hospitals, beaches, hospitals, restaurants, clinics, pharmacies, etc.
With the navigation devices from TomTom, tourists will be able to explore Western coast of India in a better way as prominent tourist places have already been marked. Apart from Goa, these PND's have been incorporated with POI's relevant to places like Daman & Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli as also Maharashtra and Gujarat.
TomTom offers commuters a stress free driving experience and safety features like Bluetooth hands-free calling, voice guided navigation, advanced lane guidance which allow drivers to keep their eyes on the road while subtly multi-tasking at the same time. other features include free Lifetime Map Updates along with Landmark navigation feature and support in 10 regional languages which include Hindi and English. 'Help Me' emergency services allows one to identify local emergency service points while the 'Where am I' feature can be sued to locate ones whereabouts if they are lost. VIA series product line up from TomTom is available at all major stores and online sites. The products are priced from INR 9000 onward.
