SAN FRANSICO: According to comScore Google’s new social networking venture Google+ is the fastest ever to reach an audience size of 25 million users.
Launched in late June, Google+ has achieved a tremendous user base of 25 million users in less than a month according to a July 24 report. As against Facebook that took about three years to attain this number and Twitter that took a little over thirty months, Google+ has overwhelmed everyone with this achievement.
Although, this has given Google+ a strong start it does not assure a long-term success. Facebook despite its slow start is now the world’s largest networking site. Another example is MySpace that grew faster than Facebook but has lost a lot of visitors lately, as comScore data shows.
With 3.6 million unique visitors from India and a majority coming from outside the United States, Google’s audience grows steadily at a staggering rate of roughly one million new visitors each day.
