The Android market is growing steadily since its inception and at this rate, Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt predicts that it will cross 1 billion activation's by 2013.
Impressive part about devices is their cheap price and user friendly features owing to apps and inbuilt features that allow users to seamlessly integrate their social and as well as business lives easily. Most of these Android phones are low budget and are thereby picked up by many individuals seeking to upgrade to smartphones but at a reasonable price. Considering that as these devices retail for relatively low prices, they could soon cost lower than their current amount in the near future.
Eric Schmidt also reiterated that there were no tensions brewing between the company and South Korean electronics giant Samsung. According to him the relationship between the two companies is healthy and well defined.
Google will be launching Google Glass to the public for a price of £800 in the coming days. The wearable electronic eyewear accessory allows users to integrate their real and virtual life's together without crossing any boundaries.
