Google seems to be in an awful lot of hurry these days. Considering strong competition in the smartphone and tablet segment, it’s least surprising why. It’s the second week of June and Google has revealed it has started releasing Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for Nexus devices.
No brownie points for guessing which device will first receive the update. Yes, it is Galaxy Nexus GSM variant. Individuals that use this device will receive notification in regard with the update in the next few days. This update will also be received by users who are using Jelly Bean version provided at Google I/O as this is a newer version than the developer version.
All features showcased at Google I/O including improved camera apps, improved home screen, improved notifications, improved keyboard, Google Now, and Project Butter will be available after updating. After GSM Galaxy Nexus other devices that will be receiving the update soon will be Motorola Xoom, Nexus S and CDMA Galaxy Nexus (toro).
