Smartphones have becoming increasingly popular all over the world. Though smartphones are excellent functional devices, it’s a known fact that battery life is disappointing. Complaints about Smartphone battery life have never stopped. The HTC One X is a popular smartphone, but like every other smartphone, users are facing problems with its battery life.
However, now there seems to be a solution for users of HTC One X users. On XDA-Developers forums, a developer has pointed out that poor battery life is because of an issue of management controls of Nvidia Tegra 3 processor. According to the developer, NvCPLSvc.apk, a power control application which is placed in the system/bin folder needs to be placed in the system/application folder.
Just by moving this folder in the right location, the battery life gets a boost between 10-30 percent. On various tech forums, HTC One X users that have used that have correctly applied the hack have expressed that battery life does improve. Cheers to hacks!
