The tablet game has begun, and plenty more companies are expected to compete in the booming gadget industry. Presently the only tablet officially released in the market that is laden with Android 3.0 Honeycomb is Motorola Zoom. Major companies like HP, HTC, Acer, Dell and Toshiba are expected to launch their tablets at the COMPUTEX 2011 Expo in Taipei, Taiwan with the same Android 3.0 Honeycomb.
A few companies have showcased their tablets in the past, like HP which introduced its 10-inch display tablet last year. HP is scheduled to launch it in June with a price tag of $499. HP has plans of launching a new 7-inch tablet later this year, after HTC unveiled its new 7-inch tablet with 1.5 GHz and 32GB on-board memory.
Dell, Toshiba, and Acer plan on officially unveiling their 10.1 inch, Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablets which are expected to be priced between $449-$559. Wi-Fi versions of these tablets manufactured by major companies are anticipated to compete against the likes of new Apple iPad2 and Motorola Zoom.
