First launched in February this year, HTC Salsa has finally arrived in India and is available at a price of Rs 20,399 only at Letsbuy.com. Once you have ordered the device, you will be couriered a brand new HTC Salsa – Facebook phone within 7 days.

It is quite clear that India is one of the important markets for the Japanese mobile manufacturer HTC because of which HTC is trying to launch their devices simultaneously in India.

Powered by 800 MHz single core CPU, HTC Salsa comes with a RAM of 512 MB. This powerful piece of hardware is operated by the latest Android OS 2.3 Gingerbread update. Though we were expecting the next Android version, the 2.4 update to power the HTC Salsa, but which is not the case as Android is yet to launch the 2.4 update or their next OS which according to rumors is named as Ice Cream.

Other features of the HTC Salsa include a 5MP auto focus camera with flash, a 3.4” capacitive touch screen, 480 x 320 pixel resolution, WIFI, Bluetooth, GPRS, 1520 mAh battery, talktime of 585 minutes G Sensor, front VGA camera, 456 hours standby, and expandable memory upto 32 GB. Even with these features, we still think that the Facebook phone is a little expensive.
