HTC Sensation Android 2.3 platform smartphone launched in Indian market

HTC Corp has launched the much awaited and all powerful HTC Sensation smartphone in the Indian market today. Talk about competitive pricing, well this one comes with a Rs. 32,700 tag.  The company did mention that they would soon be ready for their HTC Flyer tablets launch, within the next few weeks in fact.

HTC did specify that the Indian market is a key market for the company but refrained from stating any sales target. HTC, president for south Asia, Lennard Hoornik did elaborate that the Indian market is huge, and with HTC wanting to attain some sort of a lead, sales targets are high, but no numbers were provided.

The HTC Sensation smartphone is the first from the company to feature a 1.2 GHz processor supplied by Qualcomm. It runs on a HTC Sense 3.0 user interface, and Android 2.3 platform, and is fitted with an auto focus enabled  eight megapixel camera, and a 4.3 inch touchscreen.
