Keeping in mind popularity of low cost gadgets in the Indian market, Intex has launched i-Buddy, a 7 inch tablet that runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Powered by a 1 GHz CPU with Mali 400GPU and 512MB RAM, the stylish slate is just 9mm thick, and this the company claims makes it the slimmest 7 inch tablet available in Indian markets.
The device has a decent front VGA camera that facilitates video chat. As a promotional offer Intex is offering a leather cover that has a slim keyboard attached to it free along with this tablet. i-Buddy has a 5-point multi touch capacitive screen and comes with 4GB internal storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD slot.
This slate supports Wi-Fi and 3G via Intex 3G Dongle. Video formats supported by the device are AVS, H.264, VP6, VC-1 WMV, MPEG-1/2/4, XVid and DivX.
