Sprint is making a grand entry with its 4G LTE phone, LG Viper. To say this phone is not work of art would be a lie. One look at it you will agree that there is a lot of thought that has gone into phone design. For its sustainable packaging and build this phone has earned a platinum rating from UL Environment.
50% of the body of the phone is made from recycled plastic. Eco friendly handsets do not have much to brag about, but the Viper certainly does. The chrome accent border on surrounding the edge of the phone is flawless and complements the piano black face of the phone aesthetically. The back of the phone consists of brushed finish silver plastic.
Viper runs on Gingerbread Android 2.3. It has a WVGA display with a resolution of 480 x 800. The 5 megapixel camera present on this phone takes decent photos. Sprint will be offering unlimited data on its LTE network. By the second quarter of 2012 Sprint plans to roll out LTE network in few select cities in the U.S.
