Licensing issues force Apple to remove YouTube App from iOS 6

If you’re one among the many that downloaded the latest iOS 6 beta 4 you certainly must have been disappointed. Why? Well, because the YouTube app was missing. Apparently Apple’s license has expired and it will not be including the YouTube player app in iOS 6.

This has frustrated several enthusiasts that have downloaded the latest iOS 6. However, individuals that are using iOS 5 or older versions can continue to use the YouTube application provided they do not upgrade to iOS 6. Apple has disclosed that Google is working on a YouTube app specifically for iOS which will be available at the App Store in the future at the same time iOS 6 is offered to the public.

iOS 6 users that love to watch videos do not have to panic, YouTube videos can be played within Safari. Also, individuals can access favorites and subscriptions by logging into YouTube mobile websites with their iOS device.
