Motorola launches Fire and Fire XT Android 2.3.3 smartphones in India for a price of Rs 9,490 and Rs 12,990 respectively

Motorola has unveiled two slim smartphones equipped with a novel MOTO Switch user interface proving great social networking experience, to compete in the budget Android Gingerbread market in India.

The Fire XT comes with a bright 3.5-inch touch display allowing easy Swype and a QWERTY keyboard. With the new MOTO Switch it allows users to switch between friends. A 5 MP camera with flash and a front camera for video chatting integrated to its slim body make the phone highly fashionable for its price of Rs 12,990.

Motorola fire on the other hand sports an excellent messaging and multitasking experience. A 2.8-inch touch display, QWERTY keyboard and a 3 MP camera aided by a friends-centric widget strike a balance work and play at an affordable Rs 9,490.

Both devices feature an Android Market with a multitude of Apps, 3G3/WIFI4 support connecting up to five devices, Google Talk, Gmail, Google Maps and GPS. The 2GB microSD can be expanded to 32 GB of storage.
