Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning will be seen once again in a TV commercial that promotes safety features of the Buick Verano. Last time the advertisement saw audibles being used but this time the ad will feature safety aspects of the Verano spoken about in football lingo. Highlight for the current ad is the spot known as 'Blindsided'. Blindside in football is the left tackle position position where a right handed QB can't see whats happening. Its this position that saves the QB from getting hit in the back when dropping back to pass.
Similarly the 2013 Buick Verano has been equipped with safety features like Side Blind Zone Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert that rely on sensors and radar to help provide the driver with sufficient information so as to avoid accidents while backing up and changing lanes. The Rear Cross Traffic Alert system makes use of technology that helps to detect cross traffic that is about 65 feet away and can't be seen especially while backing out from the parking spot or changing lanes.
A red directional arrow on Rear Vision Camera and three directional beeps alerts the driver to impending danger thereby allowing one to take necessary measures.
