Samsung India launched the flagship smartphone of the South Korean brand, S4 in India today, at a price of Rs 41,500. As previously assumed, the new Galaxy S4 comes to India with Exynos 5 (octa core) chipset.
Retail sales of S4 will begin tomorrow. Powered by a Quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A15 & quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7, the new S4 comes with a 4.99-inch Full HD 1080p display (1920x1080 pixels), 16GB of onboard storage with expandable storage of up to 64GB (microSD), 2GB of RAM, 2,600 mAh battery, 13MP camera at the rear and 2 MP camera at the front.
Samsung Galaxy S4 comes with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. “At Samsung, we are committed to innovation and to our consumers...we are proud to announce the launch of our flagship device and the much-awaited, Samsung Galaxy S4,” Samsung Electronics President and CEO (South-West Asia) B.D. Park said.
The new Samsung Galaxy S4 competes with Apple iPhone 5. It might also be included in the new 0% EMI and 15% cashback offer. But as of now, nothing has been announced. Watch the video below for more details.
