The Apple vs. Samsung patent war is getting uglier by the day. Both companies have not stopped filing suits on patent infringement of their products. Several cases are pending in various countries and several more have gone in favor or against each company.

Speculations are rife about a movie being made about Apple and Samsung’s rivalry and their patent issues. Getting back to reality, in recent ruling a Judge ordered Apple to publish a notice in British newspapers and its UK website an alert stating Samsung did not copy design patents for the iPad. Judge Colin Briss said” This notice should outline the July 9 London court decision that Samsung’s Galaxy tablets don’t infringe Apple’s registered designs”.

This order has come as a jolt to Apple that are hell-bent on stopping sale of Samsung smartphones and Tablets that they believe have infringed their product patents.  Richard Hacon a lawyer of Apple said” The order means Apple will have to publish “an advertisement” for Samsung. No company likes to refer a rival on its website”.
