Apple iPhone 4 was facing serious connectivity issues since its launch. The reception problem with iPhone 4 was getting worse when Steve Jobs announced Antennagate conference. In this conference Steve Jobs coolly described how all smart phones have some weak points and all of them face reception issues.

In the conference Steve Jobs was demonstrating how Samsung’s Omnia II faces reception issue. But according to Samsung, Steve Jobs was purposely holding Omnia II in an odd way. Samsung says though Omnia II has their antenna integrated into the phone’s body, but it is located on the lower side of the smart phone’s back, unlike lower left corner placement of iPhone 4’s antenna.

So according to Samsung whatever reports Apple has published are false as Omnia does not any any way have reception issues. In proving other phones wrong, Apple have gone to the extent of dedicating an entire page on its official site describing flaws of other smart phones.
