At the Samsung Forum 2013 event held in Hyderabad on 3rd March 2013, Samsung announced launch of its Galaxy note 510 model which has been designed to take on the iPad Mini. It’s the latest model from this brand and runs on Andriod’s Jelly Bean platform.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 510 is a pocket sized solution that will enrich customer’s lives each and every single day at work and at home. Galaxy Note 510 is powered by an A9quad core 1.6 GHz processor supported by 2 GB RAM. It boasts of an 8” screen with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels and pixel density of 189 ppi. Two variants of the Note 510 will be available with 16GB and 32 GB internal memory capacity and possibility for one to expand memory storage up to 32 GB via SD card. A 5MP camera at the rear and a 1.3MP camera in the front coupled with Wi-fi connectivity, Bluetooth, USB 2.0 and assisted GPS and GLONASS navigation system complete the package for Galaxy Note 8.0.
The tablet runs on a 4,600 mAh battery and is infused with features like Chat 2.0 messenger services, S pen support complete with Air view, S planner, S note, email service among others.
Prices and expected market launch date are not yet confirmed, but rumors have that it will go on sale in the April – June period.
