Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus will now be available in Indian markets for a price of INR 22,900.
Refreshed flagship phone from Samsung will be powered by a dual core 1.2 Ghz Broadcomm processor as compared to the Exynos chipset powering its predecessor. Screen size and resolution is similar to the Samsung Galaxy S2. However, internal memory specifications see a drop with the S2 Plus harboring only 8GB as compared to 16GB of its predecessor. Its rear is graced by a an 8 MP camera while a 2 MP camera is seen on the front of this device. Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS is present on the phone while a 1GB RAM features on board this device.
Features like S Voice, Smart Stay, Smart Alert, Direct Call and All Share Play are integrated within this device. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity options are provided for this phone.
Apart from the S2 Plus, there is more news from Samsung as it has begun shipping of its Galaxy S4 (GS4) device to Eastern Europe in view of its launch in the region in the coming weeks. Currently the 32GB option isn't available so customers might have to settle for a 16GB or a pocket pinching 64GB variant. However, seeing that expansion is provided via microSD slot, there's nothing to worry about. Black Mist and White Frost the two color variants of the phone will be available in 3G and LTE variants.
