With the Indian smartphone market set to witness an unimaginable growth in 2013, Samsung is making its intent clear. The Korean technology major plans to introduce a slew of new gadgets and devices in the Indian market and is expected to capture 60% of the market share in the smartphone segment in India.
Launched at a price of Rs 43,180 in India, Samsung Galaxy S3 with its 4.0 Android OS is touted to be the strongest competition for the eagerly awaited iPhone 5 expected in the fourth quarter this year. The 4.8 inch screen on the Galaxy S3 has been praised in tech circles. Unveiled earlier in UK, the smartphone recorded overwhelming response with pre booking orders crossing the 9 million mark.
