With new iPad 2 in the market, competitors, Samsung seem to be having a tough time deciding on a last minute change of their new product, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 on the eve of it launch into the commercial markets.
Mobile executive VP Lee Don-Joo said that Galaxy Tab 10.1 would ship as scheduled, and there would not be a delay, though there seemed to be second thoughts because of Apple iPad 2’s similar pricing to that of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 at $499.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 was originally designed to outclass Apple’s iPad by improving on its dimension features with a 10.9mm thick design but Apple’s brand new iPad 2 did better with an 8.8 mm design, and features like great battery life, and speed. Samsung may as well bring out another model to counter Apple’s all new iPad 2 later this year.
