Although Samsung’s OMNIA M handset has not been officially launched in India it is up for grabs with online giant Snapdeal.com at a price of Rs 16,500. Surprising it is. The phone is not yet available on Samsung India website; but Snapdeal is offering this phone as immediate purchase and not pre-order.
OMNIA M runs Windows Phone 7.5(Tango) and is powered with a 1GHz CPU with 384 MB RAM and 4GB internal storage. The smartphone has a 4 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen (WVGA) with a pixel dimension of 480x800. Weighing in a 119 grams this device is equipped with a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, auto focus and video recording at 30fps.
Audio formats supported by the device are AMR-NB, MP3, WMA, AAC, eACC Plus and AAC Plus. Video formats supported by the smartphone are, H.263, MP4, H.364 and WMV. Features on this device include Wi-Fi, dual-band 3G, DLNA connectivity, Quad-band GSM, micro-USB 2.0, digital compass, GPS with A-GPS, light sensor, accelerometer, and presence detector. Apps included on the smartphone are CH@tON messaging service, News and Weather, RSS Times and Photo Studio.
