Samsung has taken up exclusive marketing and advertising campaigns to promote its Galaxy range of products. EMI and cashback offer schemes have been launched by the South Korean brand to woo buyers in India.
It should be noted that prior to its current cashback offer scheme, Samsung had launched an EMI scheme to promote model like Samsung Galaxy Note, Galaxy Note 2 as also Galaxy S3. To improve sales of their premium models, Samsung will be offering its customers a 15% cashback on purchase of selected models. Users will be able to avail of these schemes if they are opting to purchase not only high end devices like Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note2 and Galaxy Tab2 but also mid range models like the Samsung Galaxy Grand and the latest addition to their products the Android Galaxy Camera.
Though cashback offers and EMI schemes are offered by e-commerce sites, it will be the first time that a cashback offer has been launched by an original equipment manufacturer (OEM). These schemes will help improve Samsung's position in the market considerably. Samsung currently holds about 43% market share as compared to Nokia who comes in at second place with 13.3%.
