Samsung to start selling Google TV

Korean giant Samsung is raking in the revenue from sale of its products from different parts of the world. Despite facing stiff resistance from its competitors in the U.S., Samsung Electronics Co. has earned respectable sales. However, Samsung doesn’t seem to be content with a slice of the pie. Keeping with its ambition of delivering the best, Samsung is planning to launch a TV connected to the web that is equipped with Google’s operating system.

The demand for high end products in the U.S. is huge. Keeping this in mind Samsung plans to introduce this TV in the second quarter of 2012 with a band. Talk about hype, and Samsung know it all too well. The TV targeted to attract high end customers in the AV segment is already receiving accolades on tech related websites. Will Samsung’s Google TV be able to capture a fair share of the consumer electronics market in the U.S.? Time will tell.
