Sony Ericson's Xperia X10 users have been requesting for an update to Android Gingerboard for quite some time now. Finally Sony Ericson has obliged to their pleas as they have announced to unveil the 2.3.3 update for Xperia X10 users by start of Q3 this year.

Newer phones of Sony Ericson like Xperia Arc, Neo, Pro and Play are equipped with latest update, and Xperia X10 will now be able to join their league. Android Gingerbread 2.3.3 update for Xperia X10 will have new features like EAS functionality, Android standard camera user interface, Mediascape, face recognition, and much more.

Sony Ericson very clearly stated that no updates will be released for their models Xperia X10 mini, X10 mini pro and X8. Xperia X10 users can relax for now with Google’s latest mobile operating system being available for their phones. Sony Ericson further stated 2.3.3 update to be the last update version for Xperia X10.
