In its bid to take viewing pleasure to the next level, Sony has launched HX850 BRAVIA, a high-end series of LED backlit televisions. This series of television features dual core image processing engine, X-Reality PRO. The TV supports 120 Hz for 3D stereoscopic compatibility and is capable of displaying full HD video content.
Currently Sony has launched 3 models in this range, the KDL 55HX850- 55 inch Rs 210,000, KDL 46HX850-46 inch Rs 124,000 and KDL 40HX850-40 inch Rs 94,000.This new BRAVIA series comes a glass sheet covering for the front face. The slim monolithic design and style is stunning. The S-Force Surround 3D technology on this series of televisions claims to stimulate and enhance surround sound experience through 2.1 speakers.
Every model in this BRAVIA series is internet enabled and has a built in Wi-Fi and Ethernet port. A number of internet applications such as Facebook, Twitter, Skype, and Internet Radio amongst others are supported by the TV. Eco friendly features in this series include Ambient light sensor, Dynamic Backlight control and Backlight Off Mode. Input ports present are 2 x Composite, 4 x HDMI, 1 x Coaxial, 1 x Component, 1x Ethernet, and 3 x Analogue Video. Output ports on the TV are, 1 x Headphone, 1 x Digital Audio and 1 x Analogue. The TVs also have 2 x USB 2.0 that supports music, video and photos.
