There will be some disappointing times ahead for Sony Ericsson fans as there is a delay in launch of Sony’s Xperia Mini Pro which was to be out this week. Fans waiting for the launch are in for a few more weeks of waiting as launch has now been put off till mid August. Though no reasons were given by the company for this rain check we only hope they will stick to the new schedule.

Xperia Mini Pro is an Android smartphone based on 2.3 Gingerbread. This slider phone has a QWERTY keypad with an LED backlight and touch screen. It also possesses a 5 megapixel camera. Additional features will include a 32 GB microSD card which can be extended to 64 GB, a USB port and Bluetooth besides being 3G enabled.

All this will be offered on Xperia Mini Pro by Sony Ericsson at a price of Rs.15,090. Though slated for mid August, we hope the company adheres to this schedule and does not delay further.
