Sony launched the all new Xperia Z and ZL smartphones in India on 6th March 2013. Sony India also signed Katrina Kaif as their all new brand ambassador for the all new flagship smartphone from Sony. Xperia Z and Xperia ZL were launched with a price of INR 38,990 and INR 36,990 respectively, but the prices have been brought down. Sony India website now says the price of the Z is at INR 38,790 and INR 35,690.

In retail stores, you will manage to get an even better deal. We managed to find a shop in Pune (details in video), that was offering Z at INR 36,500 and ZL at INR 33,000.
