World’s 2nd largest microprocessor manufacturer, Advanced Micro Devices, popularly known as AMD is going to launch their latest series of 8 core processors which will be known as Zambezi. AMD has developed Zambezi to take on Intel’s (world’s largest processor maker) 6 core processor, 990X.
Thanks to NordicHardware, one of the leading online magazines on latest computer hardware, we have a spy shot of Zambezi processor’s packaging box. According to the image, AMD will christen these new processors as FX and might add a number after it to segregate different processors.
