Galaxy S II Mini or Galaxy S2 with a 3.7-inch WVGA display (480x800) capacitive touchscreen display running on Android 2.3 operating system awaits its launch in April, 2011. Galaxy S II Mini has a 1.4 GHz processor, supports 3G Networks with HSPA.

Equipped with features like Global Positioning system(GPS), Wi-Fi (802.11n support) and mobile hotspot capability, the new Samsung II mini is assumed to outclass phones like Iphone 4 and Galaxy Ace with its better features, and performance capabilities. Samsung plans on launching Galaxy S II GT-I9100 globally soon, and a Galaxy S II Mini entry can be expected after this venture.

With Android 2.3 Gingerbread enabled, a 5 mega pixel camera equipped with autofocus and LED flash at the back, and VGA front facing camera for video calls, Galaxy S II Mini is a phone most awaited. Galaxy S II Mini resembles the HTC Desire S with a striking similarity in its display design.
