According to singer/songwriter Neil Young, Steve jobs the co-founder and visionary of multinational corporation Apple preferred listening to music on vinyl records. While speaking at a technology conference the acclaimed musician said that Steve Jobs preferred the sound of vinyl records over digitally compressed files in gadgets including his popular iPod. Every audiophile swears by the unadulterated sound on vinyl records.
Neil Young said that Steve Jobs was a lover of vinyl records. Further during the conference the ever popular Neil Young added that he had spoken to Steve Jobs to come up with a technology/ format where compression of music files would not be required and music could be heard in its original form. Although Neil Young admitted that Steve Jobs had not developed a plan to work on such a format he was keen on taking up the challenge. During the conference Neil Young mentioned that Steve was a pioneer when it came to digital music, but after a tired days work he loved to spend time listening to music on vinyl records.
