Q2 2012, iOS rises to 33%, Android takes a dip at 56% and Blackberry drops to 6% in US

A research conducted by Strategy Analytics’  reveals that smartphone sales in the US have taken a severe beating and are down to 24 million in the second quarter of 2012. Although iOS moved up by 10% from last year’s 23% to 33% this year, Android and Blackberry sales were affected. Blackberry now stands at less than 7% and Android has fallen from a healthy 61% last year to 56% for the same period...

BlackBerry getting ready to launch another full touch no key smartphone

Blackberry lags behind by iPhone in the US

Dolby Labs sues RIM for installing their audio compression technology in BlackBerry handsets
