Sony’s line of cameras is known for their excellent functionality and aesthetic design. Keeping in mind consumer preferences Sony has announced three new point and shoot cameras, the W70, W50 and TX 200V. The compact little beauties are flawless in design. What makes you gape at the TX 200V is the ultra thin design.
It’s unimaginable how slim point and shoot cameras are getting. The aesthetically beautiful TX 200V kicks a punch with its 18 megapixel sensor. Accolades for the Sony team for the 3.3 inch Xtra Fine TruBlack wide OLED touchscreen, it is out of this world. The camera includes other features which include a high-speed auto focus, full HD video, 5x optical zoom and dual record mode. Considering this one’s a point and shoot, the pictures taken in various environments under natural light and artificial light were stunning.
If you are not a stickler for features and aesthetics in cameras you can make a choice between Sony’s W70 and W50. Both the cameras have similar features. The only notable difference is W70s 3inch touchscreen. W50 has a 2.7 inch touchscreen and the camera feels a little sloppy. The TX200V will be priced at $500 and the W70 and W50 at S230 and $200 respectively. All three cameras are expected to be available in retail stores by April.
