Keeping with the trend of smartphones with large touch screens, Micromax is all set to launch its 5 inch smartphone A 100. Although the official launch date has not been disclosed by Micromax, this phone has been listed on HomeShop 18 at a price of Rs 10,000. Don’t have high hopes as yet, for it’s currently ‘Out of Stock’ on the site.

A 100 runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich and offers dual sim support. Its 5 inch screen has a pixel resolution of 480 x 854. The smartphone comes with 4GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD slot. A 100 has a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and video recording.

Features included with this device are GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, call recording and accelerometer. Multimedia formats supported by the smartphone are AMR, 3GP, MIDI, MP3 and MP4. The 2000 mAh Lithium-Ion battery is good for 5 hours talktime when fully juiced. Micromax’s A 100 comes with a 1 year warranty. Data cable, charger, battery and earphones are included in the package.
