Volkswagen has launched an innovative international campaign 'Think Blue.Book'. The campaign is part of VW's 'Think Blue.' sustainability approach. Through its 'Think Blue.Book'campaign Volkswagen will promote its fuel efficient and low emission models so as to enable people understand the meaning of sustainable mobility in a better way.
This TV commercial features an eco up! that passes through urban landscape depiction made of paper and transformed into a 3D image using computer generated imagery (CGI) technology. The stop motion feature is used for the intro and closing scene and gives viewers an illusion of moving objects when viewed in a series. At the end of this advertisement, a viewer will realize that driving scenes showcased have taken place in the book shown at the beginning. This ad was directed by Florian Sigl and features a soundtrack "Wouldn't it be nice" by Wilson-Asher-Love.
